In 2023 we decided to ask the RHS to allow The Meconopsis Group to have a display at Chelsea in 2025.

A small group was set up to plan the display.

Helen Knowles, our President, who has had many displays for her nursery, Tinnisburn plants, at RHS shows.

Stella and David Rankin, who have been involved with many floral displays with Kevock Garden Plants, including 11 times at RHS Chelsea.

Sharon Bradley, who masterminded a series of displays for The Meconopsis Group at Gardening Scotland.

Lots of other people helped - about 40 altogether. Most were members of The Meconopsis Group, but there were also a few friends and relatives.

 - constructing the display structure

 - growing the hundreds of plants there were needed

 - transporting plants and props all over the country

 - helping on the stand while the show was open, talking to the thousands of visitors.

 - packing thousands of packets of seeds, sold to finance the project.

 

The circle, 3.66 metres (12 feet) in diameter, was divided into three sections.
